Eurocode 0 is the basis for the entire set of Eurocodes. It describes the principles and requirements for the safety, serviceability and durability of structures, the basis for their design and verification, and gives guidelines for related aspects of structural reliability. It is based on the limit state concept used in conjunction with a partial factor method.
