Current status of the Eurocodes

The Eurocodes are to be applied together with the National Annexes of that country (should there be any). In Germany, the National Annexes to most of the Eurocodes are available (in German and in English translation). For the Eurocode publication schedule in Germany, see Overview of Eurocodes published in Germany. This lists the numbers and titles of all 58 Eurocodes, their date of publication as DIN EN Standards, and the responsible committee for each within DIN's Building and Civil Engineering Standards Committee.

In 2008 the responsible European committee, CEN/TC 250, decided that the Eurocodes will not be revised before March 2013, although any necessary Amendments or Corrigenda may be published before that time. This decision has led to the publication of a large number of Amendments and Corrigenda the majority of which have been issued as separate documents.

To make it easier to apply these documents, DIN has prepared consolidated versions of any Eurocodes that have been amended or corrected – this means, the changes included any Amendments and/or Corrigenda are incorporated directly in the text of the Eurocode itself. The notices of supersedure are updated accordingly. Some documents only required updating of their notices of supersedure: such documents have also been issued as superseding documents.
